CORD Instruments’ flagship optic, the LP-1 is a mailbox style red dot, made with CNC-machined 7075-T6 aluminum housing, hard-coat anodized to Type III MIL-A-8625 for lasting durability. Each optic features a protective 6061-T6 extruded aluminum "crumple" hood to absorb impact that is easily replaceable and features an ID grid for various identifiers.
It boasts a large window for fast target acquisition (1.37" x 1.04"), 90 degree vertical ocular lens to better diffuse environmental glare, and a parallax-free LED with unlimited eye relief. IPX8 waterproof rating with drain ports to prevent pooling near lenses, so your line of sight stays clear. It offers 7 daytime and 3 night vision settings, with user-configurable circle/dot & red dot reticles (2-MOA dot, 65-MOA ring + dot, 65-MOA ring only) and 0.5-MOA adjustment for windage & elevation.
With a lower 1/3rd (1.70") height, it allows for better alignment with magnifier/mount ecosystems. It also lets you quickly and easily mount on to 1913 rails with a two step Quick-Detach mount that returns to zero. The entire unit comes in at (LxWxH) 95mm x 57mm x 65mm, weighing 12.6 oz with the hood.

With our Patent Pending Aurawake feature, the 65-MOA ring will shut off after 5 minutes of inactivity, and will come back on once moved. The red dot will always remain on unless manually turned off, so you can always be ready for action.
